Having a heck of a time with green hair algae

Try a starry blenny. What kind of CUC crew do you have? Maybe you need to add a few more snails or watch your phosphate levels.

I have a few hermits, snails and a sea hare

I'm pretty sure it's from over feeding

Well the sea hare has died, I think he may have ate himself to death. I am at my wits end. I believe Sunday I will take the rock out and scrub the cral out I it. Ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates are at 0. Phos is 0.03. I think the problem maybe in the light cycle. I have 3A dimmable Cree that I run pretty high percentage wise. The plan is to scrub algae off rocks and reduce the light strength and length of the cycle.

Broke down and dipped all rock and coral in a 50/50 hydrogen peroxide mixture

So have you been able to keep the algae at bay since the cleaning? Any updates on the tank?

The hair algae was about 80% wiped out from the peroxide dip. It has slowly been creeping up. I got a rock urchin and he seems to love the hair algae, time will tell if he develops a taste for coral

Hair algae has become manageable. I've added an urchin and it is eating it.
