It's been a while since I posted an update on the cookie jar. I upgraded most of the equipment last winter/spring. Since then I've had to remove the zoa garden and some mushshooms. I lost my gobie by feeding expired oyster feast. Still beating myself about it..

Original set up:

Tank: 2 gallon hocking anchor jar
Light: 12watt ABI PAR38 Tuna Blue LED bulb
Flow: basic air pump/ air stone
Heater: petco 25 watt heater

New equiment:
Light: 24watt ABI PAR38 Tuna Blue LED bulb
Flow: Tunze 6020 Turbelle
Heater: petco 5 watt slim heater
Heater Controller: Inkbird

Well I’m gonna follow along here. I am currently cycling a 2.2 gal 8”x8”x8” cube. It uses a rapid led par 38 daylight reef bulb. Depending on mounting height I can get as much as 300 par to the bare bottom and as little as 75. I go back and forth between only a tricolor valida or a Duncan with zoas.
