I'm putting together a 20G Innovative Marine Nuvo reef, and I'm trying to decide between 1/2" and 3/4" bulkheads for the return flow. I plan on having 2 returns into the tank. Is there a "standard" size for a tank this small? Thanks in advance.

Ok, thanks. I think I'm going to give it a go with the 3/4" fittings, since I already have them from another build that I tore down recently. I"m probably going to be using a DC pump (eFlux Loop), so I can integrate into a battery backup system. Thanks for the input.

Yeah, I'm going to keep the 3/4" for something else, and do 1/2 fittings for the 20G. Thanks for the input. Sounds like 1/2 is the way to go for a tank this small.
