I have 1 clown fish in my tank for about 2 months now. I ordered another clownfish to pair him up but the supplier sent 2 clowns. Is having 3 clownfish going to be an issue? They will be in a 75 gallon tank.

There may be more male to male competition as they get older. But having 3 will probably diffuse most of the major aggression

One may be bullied to death or banished to the other side of the tank. Just keep an eye out and once you have twp paired up you may need to rehome the 3rd.

Quite possibly this could happen. I once attempted to pair some black occelaris and the slightly larger one murdered the smaller one. For a 1 inch fish I was surprised by how aggressive they are.

Thank you for the responses. Not sure just yet what I will do.
