Just wanted to share what I think is the easiest and cheapest option to provide circulation in an extended power outage. I got a USB-port powered pump for $10 and plugged it into a $20 USB power bank.

For my 13,000 mAh bank, it lasted about 36 hours. If you get larger (such as the 26,000 mAh one below) or multiple banks you can go several days.

Here’s the pump in my tank. I did a little bit more involved DIY project with an RV battery to automatically turn on the pump when power goes out, but these little batteries should get us through the vast majority of the outages that come up.
