The tang is being very aggressive with the other fish in the tank to where he has killed fish! The fish left are 2 small 1" PJ cardinals, a yellow coris wrasse(2") and a starry blenny(3+"). Is there a way to stop his behavior? I've not encountered this before in my years. I could put it in another system with a mature purple tang and a yellow tang a little larger than the culprit tang. If I did this, would the fighting and bullying continue? The tank I could put it in has some peaceful fish (anthia, mandarin, etc) so I really do not want to chance it. I could sell it but I wouldn't want to transfer a "problem" fish.

My tang always messes with my clowns never killed any clowns, how long have you had the fish for?

Aggression usually gets worse, not better over time.

If added to the other tank, an established resident tang will keep him in check, but the fighting may be particularly bad since they are all Zebrasommas.

The tang isn't messing , he's killing them with his aggression. Have had him for many months and like eatbreakfast says, it's getting worse.

Thanks TJ! You said enough so I know what to do. He will go into the sump...

I had a yellow tang years ago. He was good for a year or so and then he became very aggressive. He took a nip out of my porcupine puffer, tail slapped my lion (he lost that one) and just became an all around jerk. I gave him to the LFS in trade for some krill.
