30 Day Count Down - Reef-A-Palooza New York 2018

Reef-A-Palooza New York takes place June 23 & 24, 2018, at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ. 2018 marks the 4th year the show has returned to the Tri-State Area.

Reef-A-Palooza is a two-day event with over 140 of the industry’s leading coral, fish, and dry goods vendors. The main purpose of the show is to provide an enjoyable, positive atmosphere that promotes education and product knowledge for everyone, from the beginning hobbyist to the advanced hobbyist. Participating exhibitors range from large manufacturers and retailers and small livestock sellers.

Make plans to check out the educational speakers. There will be speakers scheduled both Saturday and Sunday. The speaker line-up includes the “King of DIY” Joey Mullen of the world’s largest aquarium YouTube channel. Greg Carroll, President of the Southern California Marine Aquarium Society (SCMAS) and one of the founders of Reef-A-Palooza will be speaking. World Wide Coral’s web director Chris Turnier will be talking about the changes in the industry from coral colonies to coral frags. Finally, world-renowned author and owner of Two Little Fishies, Julian Sprung, will speak about his years of experience in the hobby. Come out and learn something new!

Don’t miss the huge raffles that take place both on Saturday and Sunday. With hundreds of items to raffle off, there is something for everyone. Good luck!

For the guests traveling from out-of-town, stay right next door to Meadowlands Exposition Center at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Restaurants, outlet shopping, and MetLife stadium are conveniently located near-by. New York City’s Times Square is just a short bus ride away. There is plenty to do for everyone.

Bring the entire family to the show for a fun-filled weekend at Reef-A-Palooza!

Hey team,

Can someone answer some questions about the diamond pass for me?? I bought it and am worried it’s just not worth it haha - no turning back but I just can’t get these questions answered:

1) if diamond pass holders get in early, does that mean they miss out on opportunity to receive the bag of gear/samples given out at the front of the line??
2) will any business be done on Friday or before 11 on Saturday or Sunday? Meaning, if I get in early and see what I want — will I have to wait until 11 to buy?
3) is there going to be anything at all happening on Friday? I’d hate to just be a random person getting in the way during set up.. but figure it would be a good opportunity to figure out where all my must see stalls are...

I have so many other reefapalooza questions, but not about he diamond pass.

Also, awkwardly going alone because I have no IRL reef friends... assuming r2r community will be on scene in force?

Thanks!
