No one is pouting, just purely pointing out that your pricing was ridiculous. Your asking more for one light than what you can get a new Pair for on Ebay. Shouldn't get all upset cause someone offered you what they are worth.

Thats funny bc when i posted them, i used ebay for a reference and the only ones on there were $500 + $31 shipping. Thing is, i dont need to justify pricing. There are 3 on R2R currently for 450 shipped. So just keep scrolling. How sad is it that you actually take time out of your day to debate pricing on smthg you arent buying? You have my permission to buy one on ebay! Lol. I will keep mine for my upgrade if they dont sell. No biggie. Respectfully declined the guys offer and he went above and beyond to try to prove his point and still low-balled. Sorry you guys watched a couple seasons of american pickers and think you can haggle prices on everything. Negotiable yes, but im not desperate.

Why use ebay as source of value, when selling on R2R? and the ones are R2r are 400~. so you price yours at 500.

In find this interesting to follow. I'm somewhat new to the hobby, in a couple years, and find used pricing in this hobby to be pretty high compared to normally used items. I do, however, look at the used price vs. new and if it's even remotely close, I buy new from someone who I know will back their product, Amazon, BRS, Marine Depot, etc... I personally find it not cool and insulting when someone posts their used products as almost new pricing, but hey, my choice to support, or not support the individual. Half the reason the used prices are the way they are is because people are getting the higher prices. Supply and Demand... it is what it is...

It is interesting. This hobby is an expensive one amd i just dont need to sell my lights. If anything i will sit on them an use them again when my new tank is done. I just mailed off the doser, regular price $65, guy paid $55 thru paypal, i got $52 amd shipping cost me $13.50 so i end up w $40 for smthg that costs me 65$ to replace. Thats a bad deal for me but it is what it is... the guys on this thread are upset bc i dont want to sell at lowest price but there are others on r2r for 450. If someone offered 450 i probably would take it, but if i list for 450 and someone offers 400 i wont. Just curious, is it insulting to sell zoanthids for $100+ per polyp or $100+ for 1/2” acro frags?

Gen 3 - bought used - asking 450
Gen 3 - white box - 420 + ship
Gen 3 - newer - $460 shipped (2300 for 5) or $930 for 2
gen 2 - uograded to gen 3 - 350 shipped no boxes
Gen 2 - upgraded to gen 3 - 325
Both older white box units.
Gen 3 - 2yrs old - no box - white box units $400

Plumbing is broken down but happy to put all back or match up connections. ATO resevoir included, just unable to ship. Sump is a 75L custom built sump w refugium from coral connection
