30g stocking list help

Hi, sadly, I’ve recently lost a fish in my tank to what I think is old age. It’s been a bit, and my tank kind of looks lonely. I have a 30g with 3 fish now, two occ. clowns, and one springeri damsel. If you have any stocking suggestions, that would be very helpful. However, I do want a fish that has a big personality and isn’t really known for being shy, if that makes sense. Thanks!

Look at getting a blenny and possibly a shrimp.

Here are two options but probably should have a lid cause they like to jump.

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention, I do have a cleaner shrimp, and I have a FOWLR tank. Also, I don’t have a lid for this tank, would you have any of suggestions?

Cherub angel, smallest dwarf angel in the hobby and they are usually pretty bold. Cardnials are cool too, mine is never bothered by anything he just chills in the water column. Dottybacks are also pretty bold and colorful! In my biocube (before shutdown) I had two clowns, a cardinal, neon dottyback, zebra dart goby and a starry blenny. I also didnt have a lid

I’ve a royal gramma, a Red Sea cleaner wrasse and a goby in my 60g cube and they add loads and loads of character. Would highly recommend

I’ve been looking at a couple dottybacks, but haven’t seen the neon Dottyback. I just looked at it, and it seems like a pretty solid fish

What type of goby did you have? I love gobies, but sadly, my LFS doesn’t usually have any

I have no idea if different shrimp are compatible with each other. Will the cleaner, and pistol shrimp be fine together?

If you go for the candy cane pistol, I think it would be fine with a cleaner. Can pair with yellow watchman, yasha, hi fin, dracula, orange spotted prawn gobies to name a few :)

I like mine. Shes not aggressive but she will hold her own if a fish tries to mess with her. She got in a scrap with my maroon clowns the other day and held her own just fine

I would not recommend adding the royal gramma at this state, except that you have a LOT of hiding spaces. Even then, this fish is a jumper without a lid, and the damsel greatly increases those chances. I second @littlefoxx that getting a dwarf angel may be the best with an established tank. Even a flame would potentially be okay. A cardinal might do well and, again, be terrorized by the damsel. Gobies possibly, as would any bottom-dwelling fish. You may consider a dragonet if the tank is well-established.

Thanks for the feedback! I love basslet fish, and I have one in my other tank, but I agree that they are a bit jumpy, and need a lot of hiding spaces. I love the coloring of the dwarf angel, but since it’s aggressive, would it would with the clowns?

Yeah, my damsel is super chill, he never messes with anything.

The cherub would be fine if thats what you mean, angels can hold their own really well. Ive never had an issue with overly aggressive clowns and I have maroons. They had a spat with my dottyback but thats about it. They usually are very chill and keep to themselves

Oh, okay, I’ll definitely still have to look a bit more into them, but the churub angelfish seems nice
