Update, Well I lost a RBT... I can’t figure out why all my parameters are good and everything is doing well. Maybe I wasn’t feeding it often enough. Well I have one more little one and it’s doing fine.

I am loving your tank.

As far as BTAs go, I have never had one die from being underfed. I have gone 6+ months between feedings and they do fine.

Good to know, thank you. Maybe it was just the end of its life. It did split a couple of years ago.

On the equipment side, do you find that the single MP10 provides enough flow for the tank?

Its awesome how minimal the equipment is on this tank.

Yes the one MP10 seems to be enough flow for now. I run it at 100% on the reef crest mode. Later down the line as the coral grows out and restricts flow, I will probably add another one on the other side.

Good to know. I am planning on using a single MP10 on my new Nuvo Fusion 30L build as well.

Feel free to post your build on the Nuvo 30L club thread as well. We are trying to build a easily accessible database of people with these tanks.

Thanks, I’m not sure how to post my build on another thread lol.. anyway mine is the Nuvo black and not the AIO. So I might get kicked off the thread haha

I shared the link to your thread there. Just trying to make a nice place for all of the 30L info and builds around here.

Such a unique tank design so its fun to celebrate it!

I added another MP10 just to see how things respond. Everything was doing well with just one. But I had an extra couple ones laying around so I thought I might as well try adding one more. Here’s a video of the flow i’m getting with two of them.

Those fishes are struggling to stay inside the tank. LOL.
Great looking tank.

Well I got tired of being so limited by my 10 gallon I decided to upgrade to a 30 gallon, still a nano but a little bit more room for fish to swim and coral to grow. My goal for this tank is to keep it simple and elegant. I've decided to go bare bottom because I've always had a problem with sand blowing around with high flow. The tank is a Nuvo black 30 gal. I painted the bottom white to make it look a little more appealing. I'm using a tunze
comline stream filter 3163 and tunze nano turbelle 6040 for flow and filtration. For heating I'm using the cobalt neo-therm heater. It is lit up with two AI prime HDs.
I wanted a different look than the typical aquarium stand so I build a wood top out of 2"x3" and stained it black. Then I bought some A-frame leg stands From ikea and set it on top of that.
Great ideas, thanks for sharing, comrade

What paint did you use for that? Really sleek
I forget what brand it was but it was just a generic white spray paint. I made sure to clean the glass very well with alcohol and let it dry before I sprayed the glass to make sure that it would have good adhesion.

Well I since I took down my 10 gallon nano at work I’ve only had just this one 30 gallon tank for a while I thought it would be cool to start another tank. So I picked up a 12 gallon long mr. aqua Tank. My plan is to keep this tank as simple as possible. Equipment will be Aqua max Nemo light.
MP 10 Powerhead. And I haven’t decided what brand of heater.
