Excited to start this thread. I just sold my 150g and ordered a 310g planet aquarium tank and stand. Should be here in 4-6 weeks. I found somehow selling a 80g long that I will be converting into a sump.
it will have 4 Noo-Psyche k7 with the new shades they just made available, around 250lbs of live rock, an mp40 and I’m not sure what to put on the other side for a wave maker. Thinking about a gyre for less bulky look. Pictures to come when everything comes in.

Just got word today that the tank is made and stand is being stained. Cut some baffles today and will acrylic into place this weekend. Put all the current equipment in to space out. Left some space in the inlet and outlet chamber incase I need more room for future equipment. The plumbing will go through the wall into my fish room on the other side

I have a similar sized Aquarium. You are planning on using one mp40?

I know nothing of this light, so I cannot comment on it.

What are the dimensions?

I had found two mp-40s were insufficient and I'm now running 4. Granted all of mine are on the back wall as I wanted all three viewing sides to be completely unobstructed.

I ended up with 8x hydra 32 HD and 4x t-5 strips. I only run the t-5 a couple hours a day but I won't use led with out at least a little t-5 supplement.

Are you confident these lights are sufficient?

Finally after 5 months I have gotten the tank in and set up. What a whirlwind. First tank they sent was not the low iron glass I ordered and had to wait for the replacement.
Here are some picks of the setup. I had to take the door off the back of my house in order to fit the stand in. Had to cut 8 foot shims to account for the 1/8 pitch my basement runs. Ran all plumbing through a wall to the fish room that has the 80g breeder I converted into a sump. A 75gallon mixing tank for water changes and a 40 gallon breeder underneath for ATO water storage. I
Going to add some fish on Thursday since it was live rock I stored in a heated vat and still can process Amonia.

First addition to the tank. Couple of chromis, a white tail bristletooth tang, flame angel and a yellow spotted rabbit fish.
Currently have a small foxface and Niger trigger sitting in QT and will be done with that in a couple of weeks.

4 months in. Lots of new coral and added my first SPS to see how it goes (blue digitata) would honestly say it looked healthier at the store but am working on it. Also added a lobo, bubble tip anemone a frog spawn, pink tip elegance, Goni and plate coral.
Fish list is pair of black and white clowns
Mimic tang (chocolate tang)
Hippo
Purple
And bristle tooth tang
3 chromis
Trio of lyretail antheas
Engineer goby I see only at feeding haha
Flame angel
Niger trigger
Just started a fuge so to skimmer not able to keep up with bio load aka <5 ppm nitrate
Changed out power heads to two maxspec 350s on a hydros wave engine.
Ordered new canopy for top because the wife is sick off the light spill.
Adding with the next month
Another torch or 2
Flame fin tang
Mat get rid of zoas and place some kind of brain coral in that spot
Sand sifting stars thinking 2.
Really have been seeing some cool clams lately but still unsure about my confidence to keep it alive.
Tips for taking Better pics with iPhone 14 would be appreciated

Haven’t updated in a while. I got a hood to help with the light spill, lots of new coral and some new fish. Added an apex, trident with dos for dosing 2 part and one for auto water changes. Since then have seen great growth and tank feels like it’s on autopilot now which is nice.
