Here's my Glasscages 312 peninsula tank. It's measurements are 96×30×25. It's euro braced and all four sides are starfire glass.

Looks awesome! I love the stand. My puny 210g (24x24x83) from Glasscages was completed about a week ago. I was told it takes 2 weeks to leave their shop + 5 days or so to get to the dock here then I have to have someone pick it up and deliver. I’m going crazy in “hurry up and wait” mode.

Can you relay what the arrival schedule looked like for you? 2 weeks to ship once completed hurt my head a bit. Mine is a peninsula but will be set on the counter with plumbing down one side. I’m hopeful the star fire glass is an upgrade from IM’s low-e.

It looks like you got the concealed water and sand line? Is it vinyl? Are you happy with it? I got just the water line as an impulse add-on.

Did you need to cut out spots on the overflow for return nozzles? I was told that this was something I’d need to do. I bought a new dreamer and bit but I’m wary of it.

As for size: We had an engineer certify our structure and it felt like before the words “you could handle twice the load” my wife screamed “Nooooo!!” Suggesting that we could just put my 3 year old in the tank to clean it didn’t help either.

I'll be doing this later today on mine. I can take pics of the process for you if you'd like. Should be a pretty straightforward mod.

Also, Cure time on the silicone is a full 10 days, So they assemble, let it cure, then put it through quality control before packaging for transport. I believe that is the two weeks you are talking about.

Gosh that would be great. I typed “dreamer” but meant “dremel” if that wasn’t clear. I would be very appreciative of any tips or tricks on this. I’m a handy guy but still get nervous over projects where you only get one shot to do something! Especially any info on the tools you’re using would be helpful. I have a bad habit when cutting acrylics and things to have the plastic weld/melt as I cut.

I’m using a 1.5” into a wye manifold into 2, 1” loc-lines as I’m going up 5m (or so) and I’m aiming for as close to 1000gph as I can get. What size return lines are you using? What is your target turnover?

It’s odd as my tank cured and was leak tested a few weeks ago and even after all that, takes 2 weeks to leave the shop. Maybe they’re just super backed up. I’m not interested in complaining too much but I’m pretty sure this puts me outside the agreed upon delivery time I was given. Honestly I’m too excited to be upset about it but for those who are more fastidious with schedules, they should be aware.
