Hi everyone I'm completely new to salt water and really have no idea what I'm doing. I picked up a 36g bowfront from PetSmart a few weeks ago for 100 bucks. Obviously everything is fresh water. I've done a lot of looking but I honestly have no idea what to do for lights. I'm looking to mainly coral and just a few easy to take care of fish not looking to go crazy. So I'm looking for a good budget light not looking to spend 400 bucks on a light. Hoping to find something maybe around 200ish. If anyone can help me that would be great

Welcome to R2R!

For lighting a 30" tank for 200 bucks, you have a few options.

A single 'black box' LED fixture from Amazon or Ebay, like Viparspectra 165.
Some strips from Aliexpress.
I would look at 2 of the Noopsyche minis.
A cheap 24" 2-4 bulb T5 fixtures with good ATI bulbs.

There is a center brace, right?
