Oh dude this is nice. I like seeing a little diy action so much of this Hobbie is being consumed by expensive pre made everything. Really wish I had a 8 or 10 foot tank but ended up with a 6 footer. Not quite big enough for all the fish on my list. Looking very nice.

Added some new equipment because I am an equipment junky.

KalkStirrer to help with pH and supplemental alk/calc
BioPellet reactor to counter high nitrates
Avast Ozone Reactor to get that crystal clear water
2x Di-7 to help filter out the additional particles in the tank.

Yes, I have an Ozone reactor sitting on top of my cups, its temporary.

Did some changes to the tank. The maximas were not thriving so rearranged the entire sump just to make a clam spot for them to get cooked by 650 par. Been about two weeks and they have been way more open and showing some vibrant colors!

Glad to see the maximas are doing a lot better!

Have had some big changes to the tank.. apparently I keep forgetting to update this thread.

Changed up the lights, moved from 4x Skys, 4x Reef Delights, 3x Kessils to simply 3x Amazonas 960 iCons. Loving them, just put the new reflectors on there, corals are a little unhappy with the lack of par for a week and a half. Overall loving not having a canopy and being able to reach into my tank. I can sit next to the tank and not have LEDs blinding me. Great investment! Can't wait to see the coral growth.

As you can see there is also some visible PVC, added a new 150w Pentair Smart UV High-Output Sterilizer, that is tucked in the corner and behind a plant and some cabinet. Feeding the UV is Jebao MDP Smart DC Pump MDP-20000. Going to use it for a variety of things, first standard UV for primarily parasite control (low flow), but also have it put so I can use it as a power filter and the pump is powerful enough to use it as a algae/bacteria control as well. Otherwise its just a nice closed loop system with some extra flow.
