Love the design and work done on this. How much would it cost and average non tech person as myself to do and what machine would be best investment for not only this but future projects we all like to tweak in our endless and awesome hobby. Please advise at your convenience.

Very nice design. Did you print it in one piece or parts you glue together? I have something similar in progress and mine is printers in pieces that you need to glue together

hi. do you plan to release the STL files ?

@Frank_Aaron I went ahead and order the above motor, believe you are using ESP8266 Arduino for controlling the motor. Not looking for anything fancy in notification/automation, any tip on wiring to a 12v PWM? Just need the float switch to turn on the motor and off when needed.

I'm new to 3d printing but wanted to see if I could add a filter roller to my tank. I had limited space and didn't want to change my plumbing, so I spent some time on Tinkercad. The holder for the new fleece and the roller for the used fleece are both separate pieces that I attached to my stand. The return pipe is 1.5" and drains directly into the filter roller cage. I'm not sure what my flow is through my overflow but I'm using a Clarisea SK-3000 roll.

was any STL files ever made public for this? I'd love a good base to start with. im looking to whip up a 4 inch sock filter drop in roller mat filter.
