I don’t know how these things keep happening, how do I catch this thing

Try trapping him by taking a juice or shot glass baited with something meaty in the bottom at night. Place it where you think he's hanging out. Hopefully, he goes for the meaty treat, gets down into the glass, and can't climb back up the glass sides.

FWIW I’ve had one in my DT just over a year and haven’t noticed it bother anything.
I’m sure it gets a snail every now and then.
I’ve had no luck catching it so I just let it be until/if it bothers something.
The fish in the tank are much bigger than it also so hopefully it won’t bother them.

The last one killed my little baby yellow goby as soon as I put him in the tank, the fish swam right into his corner and was promptly snatched to never be seen again…

That one quickly got thrown into the freezer to freeze

Yeah I’d get it out if you have smaller fish for sure. I will eventually have to get this one out. It’s about 2 inches now.

Can you pull out the rock it’s in? I dipped mine in RO water and it came out.
