I was eyeing this for awhile and finally pulled the trigger on it a week ago. I have to say this heater is phenomenal. Absolutely worth the price in my opinion. The element is slim, controller is easy to use, very high quality temp sensor. And a plus it’s all magnetic, no suction cups. Only downside is the element holder is a bit big, I feel it could definitely be sized down a bit. But overall since putting it in my tank doesn’t fluctuate temp at all

Awesome. It is looking good! I too had many tank failures until I became successful. If you want it bad enough you will get there! Good luck sir!

Not everyone’s cup of tea but I’m so happy I did this. It’s so nice having the controllers on the outside. Still have to drill another row of holes and find some rubber grommets. Also spent 2 hours cable managing and labeling all the plugs inside the stand

Nice set up, I like that you're doing it YOUR way. Who cares about the "tea" and I think it looks clean.

Sometimes it takes a few trys to figure out "your way". Its the true beauty of this hobby, a million ways to run a aquarium.

Well this was first time I left my tank for over 12 hours. I was gone 5 days while everything was on auto pilot, only had someone dropping a cube of food in once a day. Everything seemed to fare very well except one of my torches unfortunately (of course it had to be the most expensive one) i know torches can get disease and can spread. Is this something I should be keeping a close eye on for all the others?

Also just put my new light on and dang does it look good. Nicrew hypereef gen 2 200W

Side note is there a rating on the weight tanks can hold up being mounted on the back? This light is HEAVY and the solid metal stand adds even more weight
