Well, I was lucky enough to receive a free 4.8 gallon AIO Deskmate Classic from BRS. I was going to store it for later use but my wife would like me to set it up in the living room. I told her it had to be simple and easy to maintain. So just some sand and a nice coral rock I have laying around. BRS also sent me Dr. Tim's One and Only so I'll add that to the tank and let it sit for a couple of months. It comes with a light, return pump, and filter sock. I plan only to add an ATO. No skimmer. There is space for a bag of media if needed.

So knowing that, I'm looking for suggestions from experienced nano/pico reefers.

I'm thinking low-light/low-flow demand corals that provide some visual movement (softie's?) and maybe a critter or two (i.e. shrimp and a small fish). I want to keep it clean and low maintenance, looking for suggestion on type of corals to add (considering the stock light) and fish and/or crustacean. And maybe no critters at all. Just some corals? Thanks in advance

I don't think it can fit a fish. If I had to I would get a Green banded goby/ Cleaner Goby. Gsp,Mushrooms, or leathers.
