I plan to keep fish, softies and LPS - no SPS. I'm OK with wire in-tank. I have read about certain powerheads being too strong even dialed down, small fish killers, etc. I want a one-and-only, but which one? - hmm :confused:

I have one of these


Pointed up at the surface, 18" out, running a wave 5 seconds on then 5 off at 50%.
4 foot 75g. Produces a nice wave motion in the torches, not too much to bother the other euphyllia farther downstream, other side of the tank.

If you only want to run one WaveMaker a gyre will probably be your best option.
