Well, everything is starting to come together and I'll hopefully be adding water before too long.

Started with the 40B. Drilled and added an exotic marine overflow.

20L tank with the fuji baffle kit for a sump.

I'm running a Sicce Syncra SDC 3.0 for a return pump. I'm so far a little disappointed with that because I can't get it connected to wifi. I've connected lots of devices including several other things over the past week, so I don't think it's my wifi. Fingers crossed I can get some help from Sicce and get it connected. At least it works manually for now!

Built the stand and made it just a bit oversized to have at least a little extra room underneath although its not much! I have a control box on one end with a door on the outside of the stand to access controllers. It has a sliding back so I can get to plugs and power strips. The entire box can come out as well just in case. I will be working on mounting any controllers I have this week.

Plumbing seems to be good. I filled it with freshwater before bringing everything inside and ran it overnight. Test seemed to work out.

I've got 2 Jebao slw 20's for flow.

I have not decided on a skimmer or lights yet. The lights especially have been the hardest thing to make a decision and pull the trigger on.

I think that is all for now.

Any comments or suggested are always welcome and thanks for looking!

Looking great! You'll love the Sicce when you get it all figured out (note that it needs a 2.4Ghz network).
Thank you. The strip lights installed under the stand are using a 2.4 Ghz network and I just got them set up yesterday. I'm hoping Sicce will be kind to me if they respond to my email!!

I used my iPhone and the Sicce ContrAll app to setup my SDC pumps, and it took about a minute for each.

Yeah, that's what I was expecting. I've tried my iphone, my wifes iphone, resetting router, deleting the app and reinstalling. I am having no luck :(

Lookin' good -- following as I did a tank transfer to a 40B about 5 weeks ago.

Interested in how the 2x Jebao SLW-20 work out for you as I was considering 2x MLW-20 but now think I'm going to try to start with 1x AI Nero 5 instead (...still only have fish/inverts but about to buy a powerhead to try some soft corals)

I’ll let you know. They have been running since Saturday but I won’t have any livestock for a bit still . They seem to move some water around fairly well.

Ive decided to go with reefbreeders photon 32 pro. I don’t know what my schedule for them will be yet.

I have water in the tank as of Saturday. Added a little bit of live rock and some dry. It will be a while before any fish are introduced. They will be going through QT. I might have some in the QT tank in the next week or so.

Really likin' your aquascape -- I intended to plan mine out better before tank transfer but just did everything last minute and ended up with 2 "rock piles" instead. (Not quite,,, but not planned out as well as yours)

I swapped out the original side mounts that came with the reefbreeders to their BOT mounts. I like these much better.

I appreciate it. I didn’t really know what I was going for but liked how this turned out. The tallest rock on the left might go and I might add an arch over the top of the middle section instead. I’ll probably put it together and see how it feels and then decide. I’ve got to do something to keep myself occupied while I’m “patiently” waiting to add some livestock!

I added a simple float switch settup to be able to see an approximate water level in the ATO reservoir without taking the front of the stand off. Kind of silly but it was a fun little project.
Not really much to show except for the lights on the stand. They aren’t glued in place yet to allow for a testing period. Just 4 float switches wired to a 5v power cube contolling 1 light for each switch. All on the reservoir is full, all off, almost empty. Pretty crude bracket to hold the switches in the reservoir.

First fish. They have been in QT with cooper safe for a little over 2 weeks. They come to the front of the tank when I check on them. They are always ready for food.
