40g Breeder SPS Dominant Build

I think I’m way behind on this...or way ahead? Anyway, I decided to build myself a SPS dominant reef using a 40g Aqueon breeder and a 20g long Aqueon as the sump. Here are a few photos of progression that I could find.

I made a canopy for the build over the weekend. The first attempt was terrible and didn’t even fit lol. Shown here is the second attempt, it’s not perfect and I’m not professional by any means. All there’s left to do is sand it and then I’ll be using black flex seal on the whole thing. The bar over top is high because I’ll be hanging my ATI sunpower off of it and I want it to be easy on me for bulb swaps. :)

I decided to finally hook up my trident and made a video on it here: I really liked how straight forward and easy it was to use the app to get it up and running.
