40g Breeder

Just saw this build, looking forward to following along. So many people going bare bottom, seriously making me consider it for my next build. Excellent job on the stand, I really like it.

I'll admit it took a lot of convincing to get away from sand. I never had an issue with it and liked the look. But now that I've got a bare bottom it will be hard to go back unless I do a FOWLR or LPS/Softy tank. The starboard is already showing signs of coralline and the 1/4" that I left around the outside is like a ditch for detritus.

Thank you for the compliment on the stand!

Alright, I think it's time for a fish addition. So far I've got the following:

1 small yellow tang(yes in a 40breeer, catch and return once they grow up)
2 black ice clowns
1 peppermint shrimp
1 cleaner shrimp
3 emerald crabs
handful of scarlet hermits and snails

Oregon Tort
Tyree Pink Lemonade
BC Adam Bomb
Lemon Hammer
Sunset Milli
Spainbow
PC Rainbow
Fox Flame
few other sticks..

I'd like to keep the fish to ones that serve a purpose(besides the clowns, they just bite me lol). Tank is too young for a wrasse. I'm thinking a sailfin to help with the rest of the algae cleanup. Any other recommendations?
