Hey all,

Interested in seeing what % folks out there are running their xr15s at on smaller tanks??

Running my xr15 -diffused- 9.5” off the water. Currently have it set at 25% and wondering if I am under powering the tank?? AB+.

Softies and LPS. I’m done with trying to set up <10 gal SPS systems and attempting to keep all stable lol.

So just checked my settings I’m running a high of 33%

I run AB+ with two purposeful dips in intensity until around 17:15 where my lighting changes over to very blue (taken from WWCs lighting)

How deep is your tank? I’m running an XR30 diffused AB+ on a RMS Mount on my IM20 at 90% brightness. I believe it’s 64% intensity at its peak. Tank is 13” deep and is SPS dominant

11” deep.

So what I’m hearing is that I can go a ton brighter...

Well I would be cautious without any par meter. It’s worth renting or borrowing one so you know exactly where you are at and increase slowly! I went up at 5% weekly when I was increasing

Yeah I’m on “the list” to borrow a PAR meter. In the mean time my lights are slowly ramping up via the acclimation mode over the next 4 weeks...

If anyone else out there has a tank in the 5 to 10 gallon range with an XR15 over it I would love to hear what % you are running yours at as well!!!
