So my tank finished cycling, the CUC has been settled in, the new light (aquamaxx nemolight nano) is coming in, and am going to get fish in this weekend.

(the kenya tree are on seperate islands in the back, and so are the GSP and Xenia)

I do like the ones with the green lines going through them! They look absolutely fantastic under uv lighting!

My local saltwater fish store has a sale in which you get 10 frags for $45. Well the promo did work, and is a big motivation into getting so many corals. It all ultimately depends on store availability haha :)

So what would dosing look like? The lovely person at the store who had to deal with me, lol, guided me to using aqua vitro calcification and balance. Is that an efficient way to dose?

Ahh okay :) I was worried they were blue clove polyps and I have a duty bestowed upon me through my own mistakes to warn fellow reefers about that plague haha

That will be a good looking softy tank! Have you considered any zoas for extra color? Perhaps some ricordea mushrooms?

Zoas do look good, and I've seen a lil clamshell with them on it in my lfs ^_^
I was going to put in some ricordea, but they do have some aggressive tendencies. But so do some other corals in my tank, so nothing is limited out, haha.

Small tank and softies? Keep up with water changes and you won't need to dose anything.

Even with this amount of softies? In a year, almost all rock space will be covered! A 1/2 gallon water change with Reef Crystals will cover this? Sounds too good to be true :D

Softies don't use up a bunch of trace elements like stony corals. Most tanks 30g or less won't need dosing unless your keeping clams and a bunch of stonies
