Totally stagnant and heaterless .5 gallon jar. I’ve had the asterinas in there for over 4 months - it’s been sitting outside that entire time. Looks like they can handle 45-90 degree fluctuations outside.

Cute little tank.
I thinks asterina are like **** roaches, nothing can totally illiminate them lol
Thank you! Almost feels weird calling this a tank haha.

They are the only organisms that seem to be able to live in it long term besides chaeto and some other algae’s! I’m actually blown away either are thriving in it.. guess chaeto doesn’t need flow.

Ya chaeto is tough too. Had some survive over two weeks in a bucket with no water.
