Hi!

About a year ago I built an experimental ≈500 gallon system. It’s four tanks total, one 55gal “filter” and three big tanks(120gal, 300gal, 150gal). The display tank and filter tank are both dirted. They were originally planted freshwater tanks and I didn’t feel like removing over 100lbs of dirt, so I chose to keep it in there and see what happens. It’s nothin fancy, but I was going for a lagoon style/look with mostly macro algae, soft corals/gorgonians, mangroves and sponges.

Stocking list:

Display: purple fire fish, fire fish, 2 pajama cardinals, six line wrasse, mandarin dragonet.

300gal: bamboo shark, Niger triggerfish, dogface pufferfish, blue line grouper.

150gal: dwarf lion fish, coral beauty angel, condy anemone.

Would love to hear your thoughts/ideas!!
