6 gal Fluval Edge for reef?

I have an opportunity to get a 6 gal Fluval Edge for a good price. Has anyone kept an LPS reef in one of these successfully. I would like to get your input before I decide to purchase'

I did manage to keep a mix of softies and LPS in my fluval edge before.
Weekly water changes are a big part in making it work. I had the stock filter stuffed with chemipure elite and filter floss.
