6 month year old tank. Cloudy water that isn’t green or anything. Did a 30% water change two days ago with RO mixed with Red Sea black bucket.

Open to ideas on my setup too:

55gal Topfin Tall Tank
2 TopFin HOB Filters w Carbon Filter Pads

Parameters:
Alk: 9.8
PH: 7.8
Phosphate: .8 PPM
Calcium: 419
Mag: 1097
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: .1
Nitrate: 32ppm
Salinity: 1.025

Currently holds:
1 small Horshoe crab
1 small blue hippo
1 small sailfin
1 Valentini puffer
2 clowns
1 diamond goby

Coral:
1 monti cap coral

Cloudy is usually a bacterial bloom. Don't change the water, it just makes it last longer, just wait it out for a week. Carbon helps.

Oxygenate the water, since bacterial bloom depletes the oxygen. And tall tanks are already more challenging to oxygenate.

Is there any flow in the tank?

The fish choices jump out at me, 2 of those fish should be in much larger tanks. Tall tanks provide less swimming room.

Have a pretty powerful power head that agitates the top of the water along with the HOB filters splashing down.

I’ll be going to a long/ lagoon style tank in the next few months. Noted on the algae bloom. I’d black the tank out if it weren’t for the coral.
