Was wondering what you guys thought about my stocking list currently. Open to some advice and changes if anything sticks out. It’s 4 feet long about 16 inches deep.

Already have from previous tank
2 flurry clowns
1 watchman goby
1 candy cane pistol
1 bicolor

Additions for new tank
2-3 firefish
pearly jawfish
1 mandarin
flame hawk
And was thinking a Coral Beauty as the centerpiece although some might not like that.

I wish I could get a whitetail tang but I know that is out of the question with a 60 gallon even with it being 4 ft.

Seems reasonable, mandarin needs to be in an established tank like a year old
Flame hawk will eat your inverts.

I think coral beauties are so beautiful! Perfect centerpiece fish

Did not know that about the flame hawk. Thanks for letting me know! With the mandarin I was thinking about ordering from Biota, still will wait until the tank is established with more pods but should make it a bit easier to feed from biota.

My tank is a bit smaller (56g column) and I have a Coral Beauty and it is a very nice center piece fish. I also have a firefish goby, a ywg, an ocellaris clownfish and a bicolor blenny. In addition to them I have 2 masked gobies, 2 pajama cardinalfish, a royal gramma, a fairy wrasse, and a midas blenny. I really love my fish and am glad that they are peacefully cohabitating.

Biota mandarin is hit or miss on prepared foods. Some have luck some don't.

You should also consider utilitarian fish like a yellow coris wrasse or a 6 line to help keep pests in the tank in check.

That’s a nicely stocked tank you have! Do you have any pictures? Would love to see it.

Great call, not sure how I blanked that but I’ll have to grab one. My LFS has them all the time so I’ll have to grab one in a few weeks. I’m kinda new to the hobby (1 1/2 years), maybe not that new, but still feel like there is so so much to learn. Really appreciate the advice.

I do have pics! This tank is 8 yrs old so very mature to support so many fish. I don't have pics of the masked gobies because they are shy.

That’s a beautiful tank, awesome that you’ve had it running for so long!

Aw, thank you for such kind words. I think it's pretty too but everything in it is easy. Easy fish and easy coral. My days of needing a challenge are done and I just like to see things thrive. LOL
