UPDATE !!
Bought a light today. RAther than wait for the VEGA I got a 24" Vertex illumina sr 200 and v link. So now its just me getting it all together.

I also assembled some of my pukani rock with MArco rock mortar today as well. I am 1 float switch and a ATO away from getting everything I need.

mojo~

I would recommend going with the Tunze osmolator. Best piece of equipment I have purchased and comes with the float switch

Thanks, I did order a ATO. I went with Avast Marine. I really like there stuff and like buying made in the USA. You know... I got a cup from them in one of my orders... and even the cup was made in the USA. Great stuff.

ok second float switch on the way. One float for the ATO holding tank and one for the saltwater water change holding area. Then ill use the Avast for the main water level.

Now ill just need 3 pumps for the ATO, and 2 for the water changer.....Not sure what to get yet. Maybe some mini jets...

its a vertex illumina. Today i ordered the UV aux led pads and red aux uv pads....

A little more on the light. it comes with cool white , blue and royal blue leds. I went with it due to the 24 in fixture. this would really be equal to 2 of the others I was looking at. So I should get really good coverage. 64 3 watters.... plus the added aux modules. So thats 32 cool whites, 16 blue, 16 royal blue, 4 red, and 6 UV leds. all controlled wireless to my laptop. so stock it would be more white than a sol blue led. And more blue than a aI sol white.... Then adding the red will give me the look I liked with the radion I have had in the past. the blue, roayal blue and a little red create a really cool dusk dawn look. I have never had UV leds but I think it should just make it that much better. Even if I cant see them there is a pretty good debate on whether corals are doing better with the uv leds in leds lit tanks... so we will see.

You're lucky and smart. You went with a 24" cube. I kick myself every time I look for lights that I went with a 22" cube

I'm glad you'll be able to use the tank. It was just collecting dust in my garage. I can't wait to see the tank in person. Everything is coming along nicely and the stand looks amazing...great job!! Happy 4th of July!

I need about a ft of 1 in pvc and plumbing for the tank will be done. I still need to get the pumps for the water change setup so that plumbing will still need done.

I could probably start filling it here pretty soon. I would imagine by next weekend it will be wet.... Light fixture will be here tomorrow as well.
