So I was just given a 65g tank, canister filter, 2x led lights that fit, a canopy, and some aquarium silicone sealant. Big shout out to the guy who gave it all to me for free. Now I've never redone a tank before but have done bathroom and kitchen fixtures and such so I'm assuming resealing is resealing but all tips and tricks are welcome. Also one side is painted black that I'd like to take off but I'm trying to stay away from chemicals that could contaminate the tank and I would prefer to keep it scratch free. All help is appreciated I hope to have this tank up in the next few months just need to get some rock to put in and I should be good to go (rock is just so dang expensive and I need like 65 lbs of it so any deals would be appreciated [emoji2] ) I hope to have some good pics for everyone as this comes together.

Don't mind the nerf darts me and the boy had a nerf war earlier [emoji2] but here's some pics as is.
