When i use the feed mode it stays on for a extremely long time now. It never did this before, sometimes it lasts for up to an hour. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Rich

When you push the feed mode button a capacitor is charged, when it is fully discharged the food timer ends, this is usually a symptom that the capacitor is failing which they tend to do after 8+ years.

I have never repaired one, in theory, you could replace the capacitor, is it fairly old? It would be worth also checking if the button is just stuck if it is less than 8 years old.

You could try it, but I couldn't offer much guidance, I only know how it works but not exactly what capacitor to change, and I have not done it myself, I know the capacitor can be made smaller or larger and change the delay. If you want to try I am happy to see if I can get some guidance from the factory, and I am happy to do it here, but I would need to get the capacitor in.

I have a new 6105 with a separate controller, could i just get the 7090 for the older 6105, and have the same pulsing action ?

If you want only pulsing, without an interval between pumps, that would work. The 7095 adds the Interval modes and the 7090's do not have that option, the pumps can pulse together or opposite if you network the two 7090's.
