I commend you on your patience. The tank is also looking good. I am just as bad to change something and then go "I should have not done that", I just do not have the patience you do. I would have changed 15 things after that, got mad, and then gave up, and it would have corrected itself when i gave up and left it alone.

Thank you very much! I tried this "omg, need to change 15 things ASAP" approach few times also, didn't work for me too :)

This tank doesn't need a controller, but... it's so cool to have one :)

At least I can see my pH for the first time :) And the number is 7.86

GHL Profilux 4, first impressions.

Well, GHL Connect's design is... terrible. It's soooo frustrating, outdated and just not ready for modern devices :( I do software products for a living, so I'm a little bit biased. But, there are so much UX mistakes that could be easily avoided...

@Vinny@GHLUSA Please tell somebody this chart looks THAT BAD in landscape mode.

I've never tested pH before since my kH is fine. What could go wrong, right? :)

Well, since I have a controller now, I can see my actual pH values. Ouch, that's not what it's supposed to be...

It seems my reef tank turns into a CALCIUM REACTOR at night :)

Since pH is raising up to 8.3 due to open windows, it's clear that I have excees CO2 in my home at night. That's why pH is so low at 9.11 AM. It's not the probe or organic die-off, most likely.

Now is the time to try reverse fuge, kalkwasser or whatever else, I guess :)

The CO2 issue is frustrating. I wonder if you could DIY some scrubber media. @ReefSquad do you guys know a way to do that?

This foxface isn't friend of mine anymore. Has grown too big and started to nip on duncan, my favorite coral.

After six months of waiting I've finally got this beautiful fish. I was SO happy.. for three days :)

You know what I'm talking about, don't you? :)

My poor, beefy torches and acans... This copperband had a good time before I net him out. Half of my corals are bitten or gone now :(

So now I've got LPS polyp bailout ;Nailbiting All the torches, acans and even caulastraeas (!) are losing their heads on the daily basis ;Facepalm

Do I really have to go through all major coral issues just to have a nice looking reef tank? :) ;Dead

The most obvious change that could stress corals that much was switching to kalkwasser, so I'm going back to two-part.
