I checked my settings and every possible alert in my preferences is checked for "Receive a notification when someone…"

Maybe I just watch too many threads?

Bumping this thread as I am positive that I used to receive alerts for any new threads created by users I follow. May we please have this prioritized and investigated? Is there anything we can do to help have this looked into?

It seems like if you get an alert and ignore it or dont notice it, you stop receiving them. Or at least thats whative noticed.

If so can you tell me what your provider is like gmail or yahoo?

I will say if you get an email for a topic you are following and you don’t open it then You won’t get another until you go back into that topic again.

I have noticed that not all threads that I watch are showing me alerts when there is a new post.
Also there have been a few times when someone quoted me and no alert is sent.
I am not sure if this is my issue in setting up my account incorrectly, or if maybe others are having the same issue.

Anyone have ideas?

One thing to note is that if you follow a thread and get an alert for a new post, but then you don’t actually view the thread then you won’t get more alerts if there are additional new posts. That caught me a couple of times.

You should still get alerts whenever you are quoted though, so I’m not sure what’s up there.

Good Morning Rev - My instance in particular is referring to the alerts/notifications within the reef2reef platform itself, and not email's.

I've since marked all of my alerts as read and will see if they continue working as expected based off of what the others have suggested.

Is there anything I can do to receive an alert for any posts a particular user makes, regardless of visitation? (Only because I want to make sure I get to see those for sale threads ;Wacky)
