Weather not super conducive to painting and my wife thinks I am going to make a mess :p. So film from AC it is.

Honestly man you are over thinking this. Its super easy. Put down a sheet or something incase you drip any. Roll it on and let it dry. Nothing to it.

The fun part is razor blade scraping it back off in the utility room. I'm still paying for that one...

And it begins.

Looks great! When will you be adding salt and water?

This tank is 30" deep. Need good ideas for aquascape. I am thinking I should build high, but I'll need a bunch of epoxy or something to do that. Added 50 lb of BRS dry rock. Have another 40ish lbs in my 30, I will need to move over.

At EbayE, they have a cube with a tower scape that looks awesome! When it comes time for corals in the 60, that's what we're looking at, specifically because it'll allow us to put all corals at the light level they need and aesthetically it removes that big "box o' water look"

A little concerned, the overflow may be leaking really slowly. Can't tell for sure since I have been pouring water in from the top.

That sump is sexy  It is coming together nicely. I would go for a tall spiraling scape with water flow all the way around it. Something like this

Yep it's leaking. Real slowly. I hate to pack this whole thing up and take it back. Is a slow leak from the tank into the over flow a problem?

I wouldnt sweat it. If you are concerned with it just use some epoxy putty and pack it in the area its leaking. As long an no water is on the floor your golden ;)

Looks nice btw! I like the tall look.

A slow leak into the overflow isnt an issue. But the question is where is it coming from and could the leak get bigger over time?

I think it should be good over time. The silicone actually looks good in the area it's leaking. Right now there is no water in the overflow, once it is full the pressures will somewhat equalize between the two.

I have the 50 lbs of BRS and the rock from my 30 with corals all over it. The BRS rock is currently just in a big clump. Any ideas on how to stack these rock up? Is epoxy my only option? Or is there something more creative I could do. I though about drilling holes and using zip ties. Also, possibly a PVC skeleton of some kind and then attaching rock to that via drilling and zip ties.
