75 gal lighting???

I just got a 75 gal tank and would like to do nice coral and sps what lighting should I go with???

I had the same question on another forum. Looks like i will be going with a 2x250 Sunpod with some sort of 20k bulb. I was also looking at a nice 6x48" T5 fixture(Tek or ATI) but couldnt find one at a good price

yea, 6 bulb T5 will be fine, I run dual 175w MH and don't have any issues with lighting

I run a 6x39watt T5HO tek light on my 75G running ati and geiesemann bulbs burning in it. I can keep high light demanding corals all throughout the tank even though the fixture is shorter than the tank. I think having the shorter fixture makes the tank look bigger in person.

What is your budget?

Dub - i dont mind all the questions but you really need to get one thread together and explain yourself more...one thread has 29g stuff and now 75gallon... You might want to stop by the meet and greet forum. Explain what you have and what you are looking to do all nice and neat in thead so that we all can help you better.

+1 getting confused myself... 29gal,75 lighting, clams, filter etc not a huge deal but to make it easier on your self I would throw all that into one and have all the answers in one place right at your finger tips...btw welcome to r2r
