My tank should be ready this weekend and I’d like to document the progress here. I also plan on taking a picture of the tank every day for a year and put together a nice time lapse at the end of it. The tank will be primarily fish only at the start. The plan is to upgrade the lighting and add coral after a year or so. I picked up the RODI unit today and I’m starting to make some water!

Got the tank set up and filled late last night. Had to add a little more water this morning in order to turn on the skimmer, which has already cleared the tank up more. I’ll be adding more rock to the structure on the right and need to do something on the left of the tank. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
