75g reef tank or bigger,haha

Alright everyone i think its time to upgrade my 40gb tank. The main question is; would you all build a 75g tank that you already have ,and I don't have to spend the money on a tank plus one more LED light fixture ,or use my 75g tank and just have to buy the lights.
The main reason to upgrade is not the corals but its the fish. I want to keep a tang, ect. I feel like my fish in my 40gb are to close. I only have 6 fish in the tank. What do you all think??

Biggest one you can afford. Even used. If you want fish options start at 120g. If you have the room go 180. Also keep in mind. Power heads cost more, salt cost more, skimmer cost more. And live rock. How ever you can have bigger fish and more fish.

The bigger the less parameter swings.

I know this sounds weird but what if I get 2 75g and build a 48x48x18. Some one had a 75G for like 175 soo..

Go big your already upgrading once you go 75 your going to want to uograde again. I did a 90 and i am already wanting to upgrade bigger

Most people will recommend a long tank for tangs and some of the other fish like. That.

For tangs most tang police will say 6 feet. Unless it's a bristle tooth tang like a kole tang. I have a 125 right now and I have purple tang and a small kole tang. My tank is 48x 30 and allot of open space. But even with all the room my kole tang likes to swim against power head.
