75g Snail Count

I’m hoping to start quarantine tomorrow for inverts, but I’ve found some huge variations in the amount of snails that are recommended. I was initially going to have around 12, got some advice to get a lot more, but what’s a good figure? Gonna have 8 hermits, 3 shrimp, 3 emerald crabs. Maybe a couple of conchs if I can find some locally.

Its honestly a personal preference. You can have as many or as little as you want depending on the availability of food.
For example. In my 40 breeder temporary tank, I have over 20 trochus, too many cerith to count, same with nassarius. Probably 10 bumble bees snails. Handful of nerites. 6 blue legs. 100s of asterina, micro brittle stars. I couldn't count them all...
