75g tank

So I made an impulse purchase. Someone listed a 75g reef aquarium for $450. I countered with $200 since it was in a little bit of rough shape. And he accepted it. But here’s the kicker, he says he’s got 3k into the tank and it comes with all of the equipment. I’ll be building a canopy for it as well. I’ll update with pics when I pick it up in about an hour or so.

does this seem like a great deal?

Seems like it on the surface to me. Depending on tank and equipment condition of course. IMO if even half the stuff is worthwhile and useable that's a big win! Nice score....

So this is what’s all included. Got it home and trying to set up right now. I know for a fact he didn’t have over 3k into it. It’s just simple items. Wave maker/circulation fan does not work. I’ll have to look at it and see if it’s fixable. Came with 3/4 of a bucket of salt. And a bunch of bleached coral. Does not have a skimmer or filter sock. does have a power head and return pump. What are y’all’s opinions on the bio balls? (Not pictured but did come with it) I’ve attached pics of everything. . Tell me what you guys think. (Ps, I know it’s dirty. Guy said that it’s been sitting up for a good minute.
