Got the sump done but it was a nightmare... I ran out of silicone...no big deal...ran to Lowe's only for my car not go start so I had to get a tow and it took forever for the guy to come... So finally got it moved at 11pm and I had went to Lowe's at 8:40pm. Hoping it's not a huge bill.. as I was planning to go to Reef Palooza.

I work the next two days so need to figure out something for that too. Wasn't my favorite way to spend my day off

I am making progress but it is slow as I have just been really busy with work. I am going to plumb my red sea macro/softy tank into this one but need help moving the macro tank closer first.

I am also trying to finish unpacking after the move so that is also taking my time away.

Beautiful kitty. Savannah or Bengal? I need to figure out how i am going to pull my sump out and add some more baffles. You basically have the design i pictured in my mind. I have to find some glass first however.

I have three Bengals and one is a F3 so I live in a constant state of chaos.

I went for frozen food at the LFS 2 days ago and ended up making two impulse purchases. A tiny juvi earmuff wrasse and a really nice looking lubbocks wrasse. I picked them up yesterday and they are both in a 10g FOWLR conditioning tank, both ate cautiously this morning.

I guess the earmuff has been there a month but they had hired some new employees and she ended up in a tank on the floor without a sticker and went unnoticed for a month. When I asked about her a few days ago, a newer employee said that was a QT tank and she was probably sick and wasn't for sale. I emailed the owner and he said that wasn't one of the QT tanks (although there are some down on the floor in another area) and he would do some further teaching for his new employees. Anywho he saved her for me.

Hopefully she does well. She was very unhappy at the LFS because her tank had no sand and one flat rock. She dove into the sand as soon as I released her yesterday.

Great looking start, I have a Bengal too that has to always "inspect " everything! They love water as I'm sure you know!

Look forward to see more progress, following!

Ya the love water part is why I have to enclose my sump and order a heavy duty top. I made a ghetto top for now and had to tape it on.

My savannah was an f3. If manic bipolar had a physical embodiment my boy was it. My ex took him in the split i was crushed.

So sorry...that's heartbreaking! :(

I got some stuff to skin the stand and started it a bit but work today. Hopefully that will be done in the next few days then I can start working on plumbing in my macro tank to this and fill the sump up to start.

Wrasses in conditioning tank this morning:

Well it's up and running mostly....not aquascaped as I just tossed everything in for now and I don't have the ATO or skimmer or anything set up but it's getting there.

Was super worried as I could not find my male clown this morning who I have had five years....then I spotted him inside a small breeder box where I had placed some anemone splits. Idk how he knew they were in there to jump in.
