Hi all looking for the 8020 gurus!

Would you be able to help me in understanding what parts I would need to buy to have a nice light fixture using 8020 extrusion wall mounted for my peninsula tank?

I never used 8020 extrusions so I'm a bit clueless about it.

I've got a CADE 1500 Peninsula setup and would like to setup a cantilever extrusion to mount my pop bloom RL90 lights which are pretty much a knock off of the Red Sea RS90 Lights.

They allegedly weight 0.53kg each I would be mounting 5 lights.

I would love to achieve something like this which is from an existing member in the forum

And this is a photo of my tank with an example. I might not be able to have the extrusion all the way down cause tank is setup already and I can't move. Although my walls are solid reinforced concrete.

I have about 8cm of clearance behind the wall. Though I suppose my walls are strong enough to fasten it at the top part of the wall only.

Any ideas are welcome, thank you.

Looking at the extrusions seems like for 1450mm length and 5 kg weight distributed I'd need a 4040 profile to have minimal deflection.

Would a 4040 profile 1450mm and a 4040 profile 600mm to the wall (to adjust height of needed) be enough?

Maybe I should still add a 45 degree connection.

Also is the 4040 profile channel much larger than the others ?
