Found this tank online for $500 and couldn't pass it up. It's 8ft long x 12.5" x 16". It has been drilled with a Modular Marine overflow installed. The tank has been sitting in my house for almost a year and I'm just now getting around on building the stand. In my opinion, it would have been a very unique setup until I saw Danny's Aquarium which is about the same dimensions. No way I'm trying to compete with that tank - his tank is epic. I have 3 other saltwater tanks and a ton of equipment sitting around, but here is what I plan on using.

3 Kessil A160WE and 2 Kessil A80
2 MP10 and 2 Nero 3
Redsea sump and Skimmer
Aqua 25W UV
Apex EL with Trident and DOS

Are you planning levelers for the feet or just straight to the floor with the frame?

This is the first thing that popped into my head also.

There's about 10 leveling feets on the stand. Top of the stand will also have 1/4" foam. Glass is 1/2" low iron. Also, for such a long skinny tank, I plan on anchoring the stand to the wall.
