I'm not familiar with the method but welcome back. Mixed reefs can be very challenging.
If you search Serious Reefs on YouTube it’s Ryan Batcheller’s newer series on making reefing super straightforward. Not necessarily easier but consistent. I plan to document the progress over the course of a year and see how it goes.

Sounds more consistent than my 90% effort, 10% luck method. 😆
