90 gal update finally!

i have a MJ 1200 and the tubing but not the ball valve. Have not had the time to get up to the critter yet because of school. What kind of pump you selling for 10 bucks. i need an extra one for water changes.

this one is a mini jet 606. you would be better off using the mj 1200 on the reactor, and then just getting another for WC's.

The hair algae is somewhat normal for new tanks, but I would get that ecobak running asap.

Yea I need to get a ball valve badly... I only starting with 150 ML ecobak is that to less or to much to start with?

Just found this thread and following along. Looks like you've made some good progress so far for being such a young tank. Keep up the good work!

Im now starting to see some spots of GHA growing tho.

I suggest hitting the spots with peroxide while they are just small spots. Some coral don't like to much peroxide so you don't wanna use a lot at one time but 5ml in a syringe to kill a spot every couple days would be fine. Early eradication of GHA will reduce the chance of spores and spreading and can save you a lot of hard work in the end. It's better than depending on nitrate reduction alone.

i actually caught it in time when i got my Biopellets running. i have not updated a ton of stuff on the build thread that i need too lol
