Added a Coral Beauty and Powder Blue today as well as a Pistol Shrimp. Shrimp and Coral Beauty are currently hiding. This guy seems pretty happy though! Going to attempt to catch the YWG from my 36G for the pistol shrimp to befriend!

Just added a Copper Banded Butterfly to my DT about an hour ago

Made some nice upgrades today! Got a Kasa alexa-enabkes power strip for all my gadgets so I can just say "Alexa it's feeding time" and my pump and powerhead turn off Also installed out first RODI Unit! 75 GPD Aquatic Life unit with a Brute Trashcan as reservoir to hold water. And fixes my surface agitation problem with a Tunze power Head!

Can someone please help! This algae on the sandbed will not go away. We have crabs and urchins. It looks like green hair algae and mats like it but it doesn't get taller.

UPDATE TIME! Thought it was time to update this build thread since it's been awhile. Some additions to the tank have been my GORGEOUS HOLY GRAIL FISH my beautiful Harlequin Tusk, as well as a Purple Tang. We were worried about ick with the Powder Blue due to things we've read in research but this fish is doing awesome! Also added the first corals to the tank and our saltwater journey, a red mushroom, zoa, and this BEAUTIFUL Hammer. Had to add urchins to assist with algae on the rocks/sandbed due to an emergency we came home to after vacation and they've done fantastic. Here are some quick pics I just snapped of my baby! About to start a thread for my predator tank, stay tuned!
