Hello all!

This is my first ever Salt Water tank, I have been working on slowly acquiring all the gear and items I need to put this bad boy together. This is where I am at so far.

90 Gallon Deep Blue RR Tank ( herbie style overflow.. 2 straight 1" pvc pipes)
Custom Stand by me :-)
Custom Canopy by my in the works!

100lbs Reef Cleaners Dry Rock
80 pounds of CaribSea Fiji Pink sand
Custom 30'ish gallon sump/refuge made out of acrylic by Artfully Acrylic in Virginia (will be done this weekend stand by for photos)
Buds Algae Scrubber
BRS Deluxe Carbon Reactor
Wavelike DC6000 return Pump
SeaSwirl Multi Swirl for return (thinking 3/4" return)

I'm still trying to decide between 2 skimmers.. Either the vortex omega 150 or the RLSS R6I.
I'm going to get 2 Tunze 6095 with the 7096 wave controller and I'm going to do a battery backup for it.

I'm still very undecided about the lighting and what I would like to do for it.. I'm very interested in the pacific sun pandora Hyperion S... 4 T5 + Led....

I'm also going to be getting a controller, but have not decided on one yet.. Prolly leaning towards an apex.

I will also be putting a quarantine system in my office for fish, coral and inverts... I've been trying to read everyone's build threads and really take all the good and bad... And a QT seems like a very smart move!

Thank you all very much! Took me about 2 weeks to get my rock just right! Ordered 100 lbs from reef cleaners and just kept trying different style... Some of it is epoxied together... :-)

I'm working on putting my fish list together now. I haven't really decided on my lights yet. I'm going to be doing a LPS/softie tank.. I'm sure I will have an SPS two.

Definately a work in progress.. The tank is on the tony Vargas of 90 cycling right now :-)

Nice tank. Just picked up a 100g on craigslist. How did you finish off the back to black? I've seen different ideas but yours looks solid...

Also, on your custom base, what kind on support do you have across the sump opening (door opening)? Is it 3/4" plywood or is there some steel reinforcement? I want to make a custom base and usually a see a center support by the doors. Having it open is nice.... thnx..

I used plastic dip black paint for the rear glass.. It wasn't very user friendly.. Next time I Will use black spray paint from Walmart.

I recently cut out all middle support because it really wasn't needed..the weight is resting on all 4 corners of the stand.. Those are held in place by 2x4's.

I have the photos somewhere and will post them to show you once I find them.
