Skynet

[tbrown]

Pig Latin?

I believe that's a Mayan Pig...

[tbrown]

In Barcelona my friends would often ask me why we have the same spelling for completely different words.

Bear:

Or

Same sounds...
Bear

Vs.
Bare

Not to get into the difficulty of pronouncing English words (especially British English) when your primary language reads every letter phonetically. Try "neighbourhood".

Yeah, but Spanish speakers say we have too many silent letters and too many rules. Their language is so much easier. For instance words like Llama is pronounced exactly how it's spelled and the possessive form of Pedir follow the rule and becomes Pedo.

Yo Pedo Dr Pepper y Café

Yo Pedo Dr Pepper y Café

Hate to be the spanish grammar police, but pedir is an irregular verb, so it's "Yo pido Dr. Pepper y cafe"

Umm... I'm pretty sure that was the point...

Ohhhhhhh! Now I get it...:disappointed-face:

[907_Reefer]

...so it's "Yo pido Dr. Pepper y cafe"

So technically it's,

"oyay edopay rday epperpay y café"

How do you say Café in Pig Latin?

[907_Reefer]

Well clearly the accent aigu dictates a direct translation, otherwise "afecay".

:rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

[JoJosReef]

Maybe an adopted word? English is no stranger to that. Why not pig latin?

Anktay Updateyay

Drama  Lost a clown last week unfortunately, woke up to bulging eyes and swimming in circles continuously, could not control himself in the flow, did not make it. As an amateur I would suspect injury? All other inhabitants fine, clown #2, Mel, Starry, YWG, pistol. Have not seen any aggression from Mel toward the clowns in the 4 months they've been here.

Mel did see the net and take a deep dive into the sand, came up later on with some white markings near his dorsal but seems to be fading and no strange behavior.

10:45 PM AKDT, almost sunset.

How's the little man doing?

He's hanging in there, finding a groove with meds and able to enjoy some more quality time with us. Where's Fynn?!

[Stang67]

Practicing his garage dog skills. Good to hear he's hanging in there.

Hey I mean’t to let you know wishing the best for Tank and you. We had to let go of our little furball Mika last year in May when she had a fairly quick downhill on her health. It was rough but we had her for close to 13 yrs. Hope he continues to enjoy life as long as he can.
