A disaster to be averted . While trying to set my dosers last channel, i tried to prime it multiple times before i realised i was priming the wring channel and accidentally over dosing an existing channel. I wanted to do a 50pc water change but my ro water needs another 4 to 6 hours to generate that amount of water . Im staying positive. Enough of the mystery i have over dosed NP-Bactobalance . This will definitely do something do something to my nitrate and phosphate levels . I am left with no choice but use Phoscorrex. I am going to measure phosphates every hr and dose to rid it. I dont have any magic solution to rid my nitrates. Keeping my fingers crossed . Here is a picture of my tank after one hour of overdose and first dose of Phoscorrex. Its been a little more than a month of overdose. My son helped me with daily measurements and dosing while I was away . The tank regained balance within 2 weeks . Some of my corals are growing visibly . The doser is back in operation My parameters are stable. Good bye daily dosing of BioCalcium . I now use it like a top up once a week to keep my alk at 9

This Dragon goby is a no no if you have zoas. They sift the sand , get a few inches above my zoas and then rain down the sand grains. My zoas immediately close IMG_20190305_183841.jpg IMG_20190305_184222__01.jpg

I finally trapped my dragon goby . Its a huge no no to have it in a mixed reef with sand. I added a xtra rock to get some surface to plant a rainbow acropora and a walt disney
