Hello My name is Matt. I have been into freshwater for about 4 years now. I have a 180 gallon FW with large predators, a 75 gallon FW planted, and a 5.5 gallon FW plated at work. A few months ago I saw an add for a 2 year established 12 gallon nano for sale. I thought, why not, lets take the dive and try saltwater out. I had it for all of 3 weeks and decided i wanted at least a little bigger. I saw an add for a used red sea 130 and went and got it. Its been up and running with the established, rock and filter media for about 2 months and I am enjoying saltwater more than i thought i would. The 34 gallon has 2 ocelaris clowns, 2 banggai cardinals, lawnmower blenny, pistol shrimp, cleaner shrimp and CUC. Corals consist of green and pink polyps, GSP, couple kinds of Zoa, Candy cane, a torch colony, and a tiny toadstool.
I built a new acrylic tank for my salamanders and have already decided to convert their 54 gallon aquarium into a saltwater. Anyways, thanks for the add and look forward to learning.
